If you ever wanted to make sushi, but are not sure you can, this is the perfect option for you! You can personalize all the add ins you want without the pressure of making sure it fits perfectly.


Temaki (Hand Rolls)

All the sushi flavor, none of the formality

Prep Time: 25 minutes

Cook Time: 45 minutes (this time is for the rice and you can prep while it cooks)

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

Rice
  • Rice (2 ¼ cup OR 3 rice cooker cups)

  • Water (2 ½ cup OR fill the water to the “3” line)

  • Kombu (1 hand sized piece)

  • Rice Vinegar (3 tbsp)

  • Sesame Oil (1 tbsp)

  • Sugar (2 tsp)

Spicy Tuna
  • Tuna (½ lb give or take)

  • Kewpie (¼ cup)

  • Sriracha (1 tbsp)

  • Masago (2 tbsp)

  • Green Onions (1 stalk)

Poke Tuna
  • Tuna (½ lb give or take)

  • Shoyu (2 tbsp)

  • Oyster Sauce (1 tbsp)

  • Sesame Oil (2 tsp)

  • Sugar (1 tsp)

  • Green Onion (1 stalk)

Seared Scallops
  • Raw Scallops (8)

  • Sesame Oil (2-4 tsp)

Other
  • Persian Cucumber/the mini ones (2)

  • Avocado (1)

  • Kani/Imitation Crab (6-8 sticks)

  • Nori (1 pack)
